What can we learn from them?

The Holocaust is one of the major events in all human history.  Earlier we learned that the Final Solution was a plan to exterminate, or get rid of, an entire group of people based on their religion.  From 1941-1945, the Nazi party, led by Adolf Hitler, carried out their plan to remove all Jewish people from European society. 

However, there were many very brave people who refused to follow Hitler’s orders against Jewish people, even though there was a good chance they would be caught and arrested by the German police.  These people were called resisters.

You know a few resisters already.....

You read a fictitious story about a little girl who resisted the laws in her town and helped people in the concentration camps even though she put her own life in danger.  Do you remember this little girl’s name?
